When communities are denied the space for rest and recovery, healing becomes a radical and resilient act.

Included in a series of events for the Notes on Healing art exhibit, showing at the Friedli Gallery and Studio until Thursday, October 29th, this healing themed open mic is meant to acknowledge both individual and shared community wounds.

Faced with continual violence against land, body, and truth, how can we move forward?

From loss and grief to closure and joy, this open mic welcomes all explorations on the wide spectrum of healing.

Bring us your music, your poetry, your fiction, your heartfelt storytelling! All voices and skill levels are welcome.

Each performer will have 5-minutes to share their creative work. If you know that you would like to participate, please feel free to contact Heather Friedli ahead of time at heather@friedliarts.com. There will also be a sign up sheet at the door.
